1. Looking at Moses’ chapter of running away to the wilderness (Exodus 2:15-25), have you ever looked back and seen the purpose of a waiting season that seemed (when it was happening) to be meaningless? If so, when was it? What do you see about it now?
2. Is there anything about Abraham’s story in Genesis 17 that speaks to you? Do you have any prayer or hope that you’ve given up waiting for because it’s taking too long?
3. Does Paul’s story with the Philippian church in Acts 16 speak to any unplanned (or unwanted) diversions in your life? Have you ever been led somewhere unintentionally and been grateful later on? If so, when?
